Smoke Break! is an award-winning lighthearted 3D stealth puzzle game where you play as Applewood — a living puff of smoke. By breaking machinery, dashing past bakers, and using smoke to grow, you can hunt down the elusive burnt pie!

Before winning multiple awards, including the SAGE Awards Student Game of the Year, Smoke Break! was showcased on KTTV 11 (FOX News) and featured at the USC Games Expo for more than 3,000 attendees. It was developed over the course of a year by a team of more than fifty students as part of USC's Advanced Games Project program, simulating a studio environment with large teams, frequent deliverables and stakeholder presentations, and a full release on commercial platforms.

Scrapped

2025

Award Laurel: FEATURED AT USC GAMES EXPO (2025)

SCRAPPED is a first person simulation game where you work as an "art-generator" at Gestalt Industries. Make collages based on commissions delivered to your anachronistic computer, using more than a hundred assorted pieces of media to meet these requests. After work, chat with your coworkers at the "Digital Water Cooler" - under the watchful eye of your superiors.

Over a strict 6-month development period, my partner and I took Scrapped from an idea through prototyping, successive rounds of development and iteration, and dozens of user tests up to a full release on commercial platforms.

Pack the Court!

2024

Award Laurel: WINNER OF THE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT GAME JAM (2024)

You've been elected president of the kingdom! Now, along with your Wizard of Judicial Affairs, you'll need to help your court tackle each slate of "cases": mythical beasts spawned from the worries of your citizens. The better you tailor the makeup of your court to the desires of the populace, the better you'll score at besting these monsters. And, after each slate of beasts, you'll unlock new spells and, of course, seats with which to PACK THE COURT!

In just three weeks, a partner and I developed Pack the Court! for the 2024 Civic Engagement Game Jam, with the goal of crafting an engaging, accessible browser game that could encourage citizen participation in democracy.

Windows 7 UI Study

A website I made mimicking the UI styles and interaction of Windows 7, to test my HTML, CSS, and Javascript abilities. I used the real Windows 7 UI Styleguide as a basis for my CSS, and wrote all of the Javascript with the exception of the draggable windows.
