Smoke Break! is an award-winning lighthearted 3D stealth puzzle game where you play as Applewood — a living puff of smoke. By breaking machinery, dashing past bakers, and using smoke to grow, you can hunt down the elusive burnt pie!

Before winning multiple awards, Smoke Break! was developed by a team of more than fifty students in a simulated studio environment with frequent deliverables, stakeholder presentations, and a full release on commercial platforms.

Glorgo's Microplastics Mine

2026

Award Laurel: FEATURED AT USC GAMES EXPO (2026)

Glorgo's Microplastics Mine is an absurd incremental management game where players hire workers, buy upgrades, and fight monsters in pursuit of the most valuable resource: microplastics.

As the Creative Director, I oversaw development of this game from my initial concept and prototype through a full year of development up to a keynote presentation at the USC Games Expo with more than 3000 attendees, and subsequent release on Steam. I managed a hybrid team of more than forty designers, engineers, artists, QA testers, and marketers and gave frequent progress reports to stakeholders.

My Role: Creative Director

  • Oversaw production, internal milestones, stakeholder feedback, and iterative design
  • Tracked sprint progress, oversaw tasks, and periodically gave progress reports to stakeholders
  • Worked closely with team members to ensure creative vision, maintain production pace, and resolve blockers
  • Introduced game in keynote presentation at USC Games Expo to 3000+ attendees
